Dr Kevin Nguyen

Dr Kevin Nguyen graduated from Griffith University on the Gold Coast and he has since worked at many public hospitals and private dental clinics all across Sydney. Kevin grew up in Inner West Sydney and went to Fort Street High School, he decided to open up his dream clinic Ultra Smiles Dental to be close to his roots. Kevin’s work with a wide range of patients has enabled him to develop an acute understanding of patients’ unique treatment care and needs. Regardless of where he is working or who he is treating, he vehemently believes that patients should be treated like friends and family.

Kevin is passionate about helping you achieve your dental goals and loves getting to know you a lot better along the way. He has great experience treating all ages and aspects of dentistry and promises to make sure that your dental visits will be something that you will continue to look forward to. Most patients love Kevin for his gentle touch and personable nature and trusts him to him them achieve their dental goals . Whilst Kevin loves all aspects of dentistry, he is a firm believer of preventative dentistry and believes that there is nothing better than keeping your own natural teeth.

Kevin has trained with the best periodontists at Loma Linda University where he obtained a Masters Clinician in Implant Dentistry in Los Angeles, USA. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics through BOSS and continues to complete his fixed orthodontics training through Progressive Orthodontic Seminars.

Kevin is particularly interested in oral surgery, Invisalign treatment, implant surgery and prosthodontics (crowns, bridges and rehabilitation). An avid adopter of the latest technology, including Trios 3Shape and digital photography, he believes that by enabling patients to better visualise dental procedures, these techniques increase their understanding and confidence in the process.

Outside dentistry Kevin loves to travel, hike and eat all the amazing cuisines of food around the world. You will have high chance of bumping into him at a nice restaurant outside the dental office. If Kevin was not a dentist he would have loved to be a teacher or professional tennis player

Dr Alice Shan

After completing a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of New South Wales, Alice went on to study Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne. She completed her degree with honours. During her studies, she received various awards and prizes and was listed on the Dean’s List for academic achievement.

Alice is passionate in all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics due to her keen and artistic eye for detail. She is an advocate for early orthodontic intervention in young patients to treat developing dental crowding and other bite issues. She believes this is key in developing healthy jaws with straight teeth, potentially avoiding complex treatments involving surgery or tooth extractions later on. Alice has a deep appreciation for the many connections between the mouth and systemic health. As such, she takes on a holistic approach to caring for her patients.

Since embarking on her dental career, Alice has maintained a high level of continued education in order to stay up to date with current dental technology and new trends in delivering exceptional care. She has completed Graduate Diplomas in Clear Aligner Therapy and Orthodontics, as well as other comprehensive courses in Orthodontics and Implantology.

Alice understands that seeing the dentist can be a stressful experience for many. She takes a gentle approach, spends the time to explain procedures, and will put your mind at ease in the dental chair. Her hope is to empower each and every one of her patients to achieve a confident and beautiful smile.

Outside of the dental office, Alice is either staying fit and active by spending lots of quality time outdoors with her little cavoodle Ollie, or in the kitchen cooking or baking up a storm.

Dr Justin joins the team at Ultra Smiles Dental with a diverse range of experience in both public and private clinics, in Sydney and also rurally.

He loves talking shop and will make sure that all your questions, big and small, are answered. He provides his patients with exceptional care by firstly understanding the “why” and to give you all the options available as to “how” to provide you with the care that you need.

Dr Justin is your go-to for all of your general dental needs and he has a particular interest in rehabilitating damaged and worn teeth and teeth replacement with dentures.

Dr Chloe enjoys all facets of dentistry, with a special interest in aesthetic and restorative care. She is committed to delivering exceptional patient care through a minimally invasive approach, prioritising both comfort and long-lasting outcomes.

With meticulous attention to detail and a patient-centred focus, Dr Chloe takes pride in creating positive dental experiences for patients of all ages. Fluent in Korean, she values building meaningful connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Chloe loves exploring local eateries, reading, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Dr Giyong Dean Park

Hi, I’m Dr. Dean Park, a general dentist based in Sydney. I graduated with Honours from the University of Queensland and am passionate about helping people achieve optimal dental health.

I provide comprehensive dental care—from routine check-ups and preventive treatments to restorative work focused on a conservative approach that preserves as much of your natural tooth as possible. I also have extensive experience in wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, and clear aligner therapy.

I’ve completed a two-year orthodontic program and hold a Certificate in Orthodontics. I’m also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). These additional qualifications allow me to deliver the highest standard of care in both implant and orthodontic treatments.

I’m committed to continuous learning and growth in my field, ensuring that every patient receives modern, evidence-based care in a comfortable and positive environment. My goal is simple—to help you smile with confidence.
