Meet Dr Kevin Nguyen
Dr Kevin Nguyen graduated from Griffith University on the Gold Coast, and over the past 10 years has worked across a range of public hospitals and private dental clinics throughout Sydney. He went on to train with leading periodontists at Loma Linda University in Los Angeles, USA, where he earned his Master Clinician qualification in Implant Dentistry. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma of Digital Orthodontics (UK) through BOSS, along with further orthodontic training through Progressive Orthodontic Seminars.
Dr Kevin has extensive experience in implant surgery, including All-on-X full-arch implants, as well as wisdom teeth removal, Invisalign, and clear aligner treatments. His broad expertise allows him to manage even complex cases by combining different treatment techniques where appropriate. This comprehensive approach enables him to provide personalised care and achieve optimal results for his patients. His depth of training allows him to confidently manage complex cases while still delivering the calm, considered care every patient deserves.
An early adopter of modern dental technology, Dr Kevin uses digital scanning with Trios 3Shape and digital photography throughout treatment, helping patients better visualise their procedures so they feel more informed and confident every step of the way.
For Dr Kevin, dentistry starts with people, not teeth. He believes every patient deserves to be treated like family — with kindness, honesty and clear communication — so they always feel informed, comfortable and in control of their own care. He grew up in Sydney’s Inner West and attended Fort Street High School, and opened Ultra Smiles Dental in Dulwich Hill to bring that same philosophy of care back to the community he calls home.
Outside the practice, Dr Kevin enjoys tennis, travelling, swimming and making the most of summer. A naturally curious person, he loves continuous learning — whether that’s the latest advances in dentistry or simply getting to know his patients and their stories.
